You may have noticed a gap between my last post and this one. The reason: Jeff and I have been living in "the gap" since May 2012 when we began work overseas and life as we knew it changed drastically.

On February 10, 2016 we're returning to the United States -- moving from Vienna, Austria, to Seattle, Washington. I'm excited to get back into the mentoring and coaching ministry I'd enjoyed from 2001 until 2012.

Take a look at my page and learn a little about me. I'll be updating my website soon!

Life is ...

"How's it going? Life, in general, I mean?"

I don't know about you, but when someone asks me that question, I tend to ramble. R-a-m-b-l-e! Life is not easy to sum-up in a few words, but I've learned to compartmentalize. And so, here goes:

My God Life... the personal love-relationship where I sit in communion with Jesus... is good. Because He is good.

My Home Life... I'm not complaining, but I miss having a place of my own where I can poke a nail into the wall and not feel guilty about messing up someone else's house.

My Ministry Life... is simply an overflow of My God Life. I'm aiming to finish my book, Redesign Your HomeMaking: Create Room to Love God and Love People in February 2016.

My Physical Life... exercise and nutrition. Working on that while munching a double-stuffed Oreo.

My Recreational Life... oh, I have a story to tell here. Recently, I went to the Frankfurt Book Fair, the largest international publishing event in the world. I introduced my traveling buddy (a 60+ year old British guy) to the world of coloring books for grown-ups. Uh-huh. I'm a big fan of these coloring books. Talk about relaxing.

My Social Life... happy to hang out with my hubby and a few good friends... on my terms. (Introvert)

My Work Life... I'm privileged to be part of an organization bringing hope to forgotten peoples.

I plan to begin blogging on a regular basis on the above-mentioned topics, and I hope that you will find both humor and hope as you follow along.

If you had to choose one area in which you'd like to move forward, which would it be? What's your goal, and what's one step you can take to achieve that goal?
